we are here with Rosemary

Hi Everyone: What an answer to prayer. We arrived safely in Africa at approx. 10:30pm (there time) WITH ALL THE LUGGAGE!. What a honour to finally meet the woman we have talked so much about, (Rosemary). By the time we got to the hotel it was very late and we were all tired, so today we will take time to shop for supplies and take alittle time to relax with Rosemary.  And Richard, me and Rosemary are sitting here together thinking of what to say to you, knowing that travelling without gets you first class seats and all luggage arrives with no problems. But we need a pineapple peeler. So I guess you still have one job out here in Africa.

Hi everyone: Well, we have happily been joined with our seventh team member, Jason. Only to find out that we have almost a two hour delay. But pleasantly to our surprise we have been boosted to first class to London. Now pray that the delay isn't any longer so that we don't miss our flight to Africa. Great time getting to know each other. Keep the prayers coming. The Lord is good.

Hi Everyone: Cannot believe the time has come so quickly! First of all introduction of the first six team members, starting from left to right. Shelbie Friesen, Linda Friesen, Sherry Wiebe, Frank Wiebe, Tim Sikma and Joanne Sikma. Our first stop is Toronto, at which time we pick up our seventh team member, Jason Primeau (Joanne Sikma's brother).  Words cannot express the gratitude we wish to express to all the people who took the time to come out and help us pack and pray with us. Matthew 18:20 "For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them".  What a great promise, knowing that he is going to be with us every step of the way.  It's been so amazing watching God work in all of our lives bringing this whole project together. Please continue to pray for us, day or "NIGHT" as our trip begins.  It's  great watching God knit us all closer together as we do His will. Thank you again for all the prayer support! That is the key.

After one whole year, the next TOUCH Ministry Team leaves for Uganda on Friday, January 28th.  They will be updating us on this site.
